このたび６月３０日（木）をもちまして北九州市役所を退職し、国に戻ることになりました。これまでの３年３ヶ月の間、ＰＣＢ処理や産業廃棄物対策、環境政策・広報、地方創生や環境保全全般などに幅広く携わる機会を頂き、本当にお世話になりました。ありがとうございました！
環境首都として、少子高齢化、人口減少、産業構造変化への対応など、課題を先取りしてチャレンジする北九州での仕事は、日本の将来にも繋がる大きなやりがいがありました。対応は道半ばとなりましたが、これからは国の立場から陰に陽にこのまちをバックアップできればと考えています。
プライベートでも九州・沖縄は全県を巡り、本州も山口・広島・島根から京都まで家族楽しく回りました。娘の沙羅も早４歳、特に幼稚園でたくましく育ち、すっかり北九州弁になりました♪
７月１日からは、環境省廃棄物・リサイクル対策部リサイクル推進室の総括補佐を務めることになりました。国のリサイクル制度や推進事業を統括する担当で、現場の最前線で培った経験を存分に生かしていきます。東京でもどうぞよろしくお願いします。
I will resign from the city of Kitakyushu at the end of this month and go back to the Japanese government. For 3 years and 3 months, I have been engaged in such a wide range of work like PCB disposal, industrial waste management, environmental policy and public relations, local revitalization and environmental conservation. Thanks millions!
The jobs for Kitakyushu city are super worthwhile working because this "environmentally capital" city has been challenging against "advanced" tasks like super aging society, population decline and change-over in the industrial structure, which imply the future of Japan.
On my private side, our family have enjoyed the trips to all the prefectures of Kyushu and Okinawa as well as some of the main island of Japan like Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Shimane to Kyoto. Our daughter, Sarah, is 4 years old and grows strongly especially in the kindergarten - she fluently speaks in Kitakyushu dialect ;-)
From July 1st, I will work for the Ministry of the Environment Japan and become the Deputy Director of Recycle Division, in charge of recycling schemes and business promotion. I am willing to make the best of the field experiences in Kitakyushu. Please keep in touch especially when you visit Tokyo!
